This Tier One Investment Bank with an impressive track record in Asia has an exciting opportunity in their Mainframe and Storage team to provide high quality infrastructure solutions to the global business. They are looking for a person to provide seniority and experience to the Singapore team which is a highly visible and challenging role.
You will be responsible for maintaining the mainframe storage infrastructure for Tape globally across the bank. This is a key role to support and install all elements of the hardware to support Tape and Business Continuity projects. You will have oversight over hardware upgrades, interfacing closely with the operating systems support teams that utilize storage utilities. You will be instrumental in supporting all aspects of Z/OS Mainframe Tape Storage.
Suitable candidates must have extensive Tape Storage experience, ideally within a banking environment. You should have proven experience with backup methodologies, hardware configuration, mainframe storage. Candidates must have experience with a number of key products including CA-CA1, Oracle EXLM and Oracle HSC. You should also have good exposure with products like SAS, REXX, VEHSTATS and broad IBM technologies.
