TAS – Technical Drafters – T03

The Role

Project Delivery within the Technology and Asset Services group are seeking to engage two highly motivated Drafting Technical Officers - Radio / Communications to join their drafting teams to support the delivery of the capital works program. One role is based in Melbourne, with the other based in Brisbane.

Within this role you will be responsible for producing accurate, concise and readily interpretable Microstation Computer Aided Design (CAD) technical drawings for Airservices facilities, systems and equipment. You will also integrate and index technical drawings using DataViewer DVTDM™. This is a core aspect of providing systems support services and maintaining the safety and integrity of the National Airways System (NAS).

The Person

Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will assist you in building and maintaining productive working relationships across the organisation. Your demonstrated ability to work with limited technical guidance on moderately complex design drafting tasks will see you achieve success in this role.

Your strength in implementing and adhering to policies, procedures and instructions would be highly regarded. Your ability to be flexible, but still plan, organise and perform activities and tasks to meet time deadlines and cost outcomes will see you thrive in this role.
