TASpj R&D Engineer
TASpj RD Engineer - Pharmaceutical: Pittsburg, Pennsylvania / East Coast
Minimum Master’s degree, Ph.D. preferred, with 10 years’ experience. This position is the lead technical role for US TASpj activities. Candidate will participate in the productization of Advantest's TAS7500, a Terahertz based pharmaceutical analysis system, in cooperation with US based consultant's followed by application development and deployment into major US based pharmaceutical companies.
Job Requirements:
· Familiarity with pharmaceutical systems, process equipment, industrial utilities, and Maintenance Software.
· Experience with the operation of various process analytical technologies (such as Mid-IR, NIR, Raman, UV-Vis) and their operating/data collection systems.
· Extensive knowledge of analytical and physical organic chemistry with a proven background in separation sciences and/or spectroscopy.
· Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
· Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Experience:
· Electrical / Optical / Analog Measurement Technology
· Research and Development / Product
· Instrument / Test company experience with problem solving and trouble-shooting at the system level.
