Tax Accountant
Our Industry client based in Chester is looking for a Tax Accountant on a permanent basis.
Joining an existing team of high performing corporate tax accountants and statutory COE's you will take responsibility for and manage all the tax and statutory reporting compliance requirements for a group of markets within the EMEA team. In addition you will provide advice on any tax or statutory related issue coordinating with external advisor's and the Corporate tax department.
For success in this role you will have at least five years solid background in corporation tax accounting and compliance from practice and or industry. As a qualified accountant or chartered tax adviser you will have tax compliance experience in at least on jurisdiction in a multi-national corporate tax environment or equivalent. Furthermore you will have fluency in English plus one other European language, preferably German, Spanish or Italian ( technical and communicative).
With knowledge of managing the compliance and accounting function in a cost effective manner coupled with strong analytical, communication and team building skills as well as any basic understanding of US GAAP , this role will offer you the opportunity to work within a truly multinational business environment, exposure to other areas such as transfer pricing and the opportunity to add value by educating the organisation and key players on the value of effective tax management.
