Tax Accountant EMEA
Our Industry client based in Chester is looking for an experienced Tax Accountant for a nine month maternity cover contract.
Joining an existing team of high performing corporate tax accountants and reporting to the Associate Tax Director you will take responsibility for and to manage all the tax and statutory reporting compliance requirements for a group of markets within the EMEA team. In addition you will provide advice on any tax or statutory related issue coordinating with external advisor's and the Corporate tax department.
For success in this role you will have a solid background in corporation tax accounting and compliance from practice and or industry. As a qualified accountant or chartered tax adviser international experience would be beneficial, ,however if candidates do not have international exposure, the ability to use your initiative to investigate and manage European tax computations will support you in this role.
With knowledge of managing the compliance and accounting function in a cost effective manner coupled with strong analytical, communication and team building skills as well as any basic understanding of US GAAP , this role will offer you the opportunity to work within a truly multinational business environment, exposure to other areas such as transfer pricing and the opportunity to add value by educating the organisation and key players on the value of effective tax management.
