Tax Accountant - Group Tax
The successful candidate will join the Group Tax team reporting to the Senior Tax Manager assisting in the provision of tax compliance and consultancy advice for all group companies.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support and tax technical advice to businesses and wider group
- Preparation of tax returns and consulting on ad hoc projects
- Calculation of tax provisions for inclusion in financial statements
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business units/divisions
- Keeping up to date with current regulatory requirements and tax legislation
Requirements:
- CTA / AITI qualified as well as ACA/ACCA qualified
- Experience dealing with VAT and VAT on property would be desirable
- Self motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently autonomously.
- Highly motivated with initiative and a willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to travel for short periods if required
Suitable candidates may be big 4 trained or from a quality tax department/team with broad exposure to various tax heads and seeking to progress their careers in industry.
