Tax Accountant Job in Birmingham 35209, Alabama Us
Outstanding Birmingham Company is looking to add a talented tax professional to their team. A qualified candidate must be able to work independently with no supervision. Duties will include a variety of complex tax work such as assisting with tax provisions, technical research related to corporate transactions, assisting and working with the external CPA firm, as well as preparation of returns, streamlining the processes related to the corporate tax function, tax technology improvements, and other corporate tax planning as required. This is a very hands on role.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 5 years related tax experience
- Technical knowledge and excellent communications skills.
- CPA or Masters degree is required
