Job Summary:

This position will provide administrative support to tax professionals and will also be responsible for processing financial statements and tax returns.  Additionally, this position provides overall office support that includes a wide variety of duties that require a “can do” spirit.  The right candidate will be accustomed to a fast-paced, goal-orientated environment. Candidates must be punctual, dependable, reliable, flexible and available to work seasonal overtime including evenings and weekends. The right candidate must also exude superior client service skills, be a team player, and work well independently.

 

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

·         Minimum 5 years of recent prior office experience - Required

·         Experience in public accounting or legal environment preferred

·         Excellent organizational skills with Strong Attention to Detail

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Self-motivated, high energy and strong work ethic.

·         Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

·         The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

·         Excellent judgment and decision making skills

·         Ability to exceed goals, exhibit a sense of urgency and possess a continuous improvement mentality.

·         Professional appearance and demeanor with good presentation skills

·         Strong Computer Skills – MS Word and Excel are Required – PowerPoint a plus

 

Responsibilities:

·         Provide administrative support to tax professionals

·         Copying, assembling and binding financial statements, tax returns and various other reports

·         Scanning Archiving – file maintenance

·         Miscellaneous Copying projects

·         Daily mail distribution

·         Maintaining office equipment on a daily basis (i.e., changing toner, stocking paper, and placing maintenance orders)

·         Ordering Office and Kitchen Supplies

·         Stocking and cleaning canteen areas daily

·         Errands for office and canteen supplies as needed

·         Backup Receptionist and greet clients cheerfully
