Responsibilities:
TE is looking for candidates for a Tax Analyst role in the Tax Reporting group, to be based in Berwyn, PA. As an Analyst in our Tax department, you will work with some of the top corporate tax professionals in the Philadelphia area.
The TE Tax Reporting Analyst position will provide the candidate with a broad exposure to the tax function with an emphasis on federal, state and international tax reporting. Additional responsibilities could include providing support to the tax accounting and transfer pricing team; preparation of assigned corporate tax returns and other reporting requirements; learning the tax return preparation process; and obtaining a general understanding of the company's effective tax rate and legal entity structure.
This position reports directly to a Director in the Income Tax Reporting group of TE.
Requirement:
Tax Reporting Analyst responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Assist in the preparation of supporting work papers and the preparation of the Federal and State income tax returns for Tyco Electronics Corporation and Subsidiaries.
- Preparation of quarterly estimated payments and extensions.
- Assist in preparation of US information returns for Non-US Corporations.
- Assist in data analysis and input into Tax Stream, CorpTax and CorpInternational
- Assist in the analysis of quarter-end and year-end income tax reporting data as needed.
- Provide support for other tax groups as needed
Experience/Qualifications: 1 to 3 Years of Tax and/or Accounting Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or other financial discipline;
- CPA and/or MS Taxation (a plus, not required)
- Prior experience in tax compliance or consulting is preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
