Tax Assistant – New Graduate Application

Job Description

Our tax practice works with a broad client base that provides team members with diverse challenges and business issues on a day–to–day basis. Across tax we have clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, real estate, sport, leisure, manufacturing, utilities and technology.

You will have client contact from the very start of your career. The area of tax you join, will determine the type of day to day work you do, but all our tax professionals use a combination of legal, financial, business and consulting skills in their roles, whether you’re working with large multinational clients or high net worth individuals. Some work may be more compliance based in nature, whereas some work has a consultancy approach to assessing client need and problem solving.

You will receive first rate training to ensure smooth career progression by attending internal tax training courses as well as external courses for whichever professional qualification you take.

As your career progresses so does the level of responsibility. Career progression is rapid, as responsibility is given very early on. Within a year or two of joining, you’ll have staff working for you and you will have to manage their workload as well as your own.

The individuals who join us need to be focused and enthusiastic with excellent people skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be able to articulate ideas in a mature manner and challenge constructively the thinking of others.
