Tax Consultant
My client, a mid-tier firm of chartered accountants, based in Dundee, are looking for a Tax Consultant to join them to assist with both personal and corporate tax. The firm has a wide range of clients in terms of turnover and sector giving you exposure to a wide client base.
Within this role you will be responsible for compliance for both personal and corporate clients, with some exposure to advisory work. Duties will also include, preparation of self-assessment tax returns for individuals and computation of their tax liabilities for review by Senior management, preparation of P11Ds on behalf of clients, preparation of corporate tax returns and computation of tax liabilities for review, undertaking technical research and supporting colleagues and management in regards to servicing of clients needs.
Ideally you will hold an ATT qualification, have a minimum of 3 years experience within practice, significant experience within personal tax and have had further exposure to corporate tax. Previous experience of using IRIS is also advantageous. In person you will be a strong team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong track record of exceeding goals.
