Tax controller recruitment
Hays is representing an international company in Brussels that is looking for a tax controller with some previous experience in VAT.
As a tax controller, you will be responsible for preparing and completing VAT filings as well as performing VAT reconciliations with the support of the finance department.
Part of your tasks will also be to ensure compliancy with new legislation in Belgium and monitor changes to Belgian, dutch and Luxembourg tax legislations in order to assess their impact on the business.
To be considered for this role, you need to have an university degree in finance or business administration and at least 4 years experience as a tax advisor (ideally in a Big Four). The right candidate also needs to be fluent in English, French and Dutch.
