Position Description:
Morgan Stanley's Asia Pacific Regional Tax Department is looking for an Associate to join their regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
As a key member of the regional tax team, the Associate will have these primary responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to Firm businesses and direct communication with front office desks such as investment banking, institutional equities, fixed income and asset management across Asia Pacific e.g. Australia, Hong Kong, Mauritius and New Zealand
- Work with various internal departments to obtain information and resolve tax-related issues e.g. Finance and Accounting, Operations, Legal and Compliance
- Compile and review corporate tax returns
- Independently handle tax compliance matters and enquiry-handling including liaison with external advisors
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 2-4 years of tax experience from one of the Big4 consulting firms
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Practical knowledge in tax-related rules and regulations in multiple jurisdictions preferred
