About the Job
Our client is one of Australia's leading providers of commercial law services to some of Australia's leading corporates and wealthiest individual and family groups.
An opportunity now exists within its Tax practice for an experienced taxation advisor or tax lawyer with 3-7 years PQE tax advisory experience. The taxation practice provides integrated advice across key areas of commercial transactions, including international and cross-border transactions, venture capital, research and development, stamp duty and tax litigation.
Members of its tax team have advised successive governments on revenue law issues, hold prominent positions on taxation-related steering and advisory committees and are active in professional education. It's reputation in taxation law is unrivalled and the esteem in which its tax lawyers are held is such that the firm works on behalf of, and attract frequent referral work from, leading accounting, corporate advisory, stockbroking and investment banking firms and other professional advisers.
Experience in a legal team, ATO or international accounting firm is preferred. Excellent academics will be taken as a given
