The role is to support the new growth in the company and provide tax strategy, tax advice and tax compliance for the business. Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of the Tax Risk Management framework in the business.
* Provide strategic tax advice and input into investment decisions supporting the growth strategy
* Deliver day to day tax advice to the finance divisions and other business units
* Responsible for the accurate and timely lodgement of reports required by regularity authorities
* Draft and manage the implementation of tax policies ensuring that polices promote commercial efficiencies and maintain appropriate levels of tax risk
* Demonstrate and ability to interpret complex tax and other relevant legislation
Key Requirements
* Degree Qualified in a relevant discipline
* CA/CPA qualified or Masters of Tax
* 7 to 10 years in tax consulting, preferably with large corporate experience
* Demonstrated commercial acumen
* Strong ability to build effective relationships and liaise with senior business partners
* Previous experience in managing a tax function within a corporate would be desirable
* Strategic thinking and ability to identify commercial consequences from technical issues
