Tax Manager North Houston up to $129 plus bonus Our growing Oil Gas client centrally located in Houston is looking for a Tax Manager. This position requires at least 8 years of industry and/or public accounting experience with a primary focus on state partnership and corporate taxes including the financial reporting for taxes under FAS 109, FIN 48, and tax-related financial controls under Sarbanes-Oxley. This is a high profile role that will train and lead other tax professionals. Successful candidates will have outstanding communications and leadership skills; direct experience and strong knowledge of state and local tax; along with the understanding of tax research methods with the ability to research complex tax issues. A CPA, prior public accounting, and prior management experience are also required for consideration. Preference will be given to those with a Masters in Taxation or CorpTax experience.
