Tax Manager, Wholesale Bank recruitment

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop and broaden your tax experience across the wide range of wholesale bank products and services.

You will provide tax support (risk management and advisory services) to the Wholesale Bank Corporate Finance (CF) businesses globally.

Your primary responsibility is to manage Tax risks opportunities relating to CF transactions, projects activities.

You are also expected to provide Tax support services to CF businesses in Originating Executing transactions.

Key Roles Responsibilities

* Business Support (Corporate Finance)
- Efficiently support business transactions through providing quality tax input and quantifying tax impact.
- Provide solutions to support business objectives and infrastructure initiatives in the most tax efficient manner.

* Tax Risk Management
- Establish appropriate Tax infrastructure, controls and procedures to mitigate business tax risks identified
- Prepare and regularly update CF Tax risk maps

* Transfer Pricing
- Implementation of CF TP Policies Guidelines as per established procedures
- Improve/reengineer TP processes to derive process efficiencies

* Projects
- Provide quality Tax input to projects teams
- Ensure tax efficiency achieved on project assigned

* Key stakeholders
- Interact and work with the businesses, operations, LC, finance and other internal stakeholders to deliver on the assigned responsibilities

Qualifications Skills

* Tertiary qualification
* Good communicator with ready appreciation of business issues
* Team player with ability to function independently
* Self-motivated and decisive
* Enthusiastic, intelligent and continually learning
* Good analytical and interpretative skills
* Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, etc)
