Tax Manager/Head of Tax recruitment
Our client has areas of coverage across investment banking, asset management and specialized finance. Due to the business significantly increasing their UK operations they are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist/Manager to cover all aspects of Tax within the firm
Reporting to the Managing Director the role will require strategic input into key areas and covering all areas of Tax including the analysis and reporting of Corporation Tax, VAT and HMRC. The role will involve liaison with key stake holders and senior management regarding the impact of tax on all the bank's transactions and products including all EMEA region branches. The successful candidate can expect significant growth potential and be a key member of the business and finance team
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Accountant/Tax (ACA/ACCA/CTA)
- Educated to degree level
- Extensive experience of UK Corporation Tax and VAT
- Experience of HMRC/Income Tax desirable but not essential
- Overseas tax exposure desirable
- Candidate will have a good track record within investment banks and/ or securities houses (this also includes experience gained within a Public Practice firm)
- Strong Excel skills
- Must be proactive and collegiate in approach and be willing to assist the business and help it grow.
- This is an exciting opportunity with a varied workload, offering close interaction with the business and exposure to senior management.
Salary: £80-100K + bonus + benefits
