TAX SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – $88K – 73K. 25% Non
Your technical skills to do the usual compliance of BAS and returns are expected, but developed client skills are needed to deal with the larger than average SMEs.
The Clients of this firm are successful business leaders in their industry. Beyond compliance to satisfy the tax office requirements, these Corporates need you to understand their business and at times advise them on the best course of action to enhance their company's financial strategies.
Understandably, you should be comfortable in dealing with clients at this level and able to assist them with industry specific tax knowledge. Of course Senior Management will support your delivery
As a team of 4 are under your supervision, taking care of working papers, you’ll then have time to get involved in margin calls and valuations as special projects. You can expect that this will encompass about 25% of your time.
The eventual goal is for you to take over the whole team as their Manager within the next 2 years. Both the Partner and the current Manager will act as guides to further develop your management skills that you may be weak in.
4+ years Australian Business Services experience in a Public Practice firm and have completed, or are near completion of your professional qualifications.
