Tax Technology Manager
Raytheon's Finance Enterprise Services (FES) is looking for a Tax Technology Manager to join the Sales, Use and Property Tax Team.
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Application Support - Responsible for managing all SUPT applications, includes implementations, configuration, design enhancements, fixes in addition to normal upgrade updates. Includes maintaining and updating all supporting documentation related to design and process.
- IT Support - Responsible for interfacing with other IT groups for additional support and maintenance.
- SUPT Support - Responsible for understanding our key business systems and the related tax requirements for those systems. Continually work to improve the design and accuracy of the process. Assist with gathering financial data for SUPT compliance, audits and other information requests. Organize and provide systems training to transaction tax, accounting and operations personnel.
- Project Management - Responsible for managing SUPT technology projects with various BU's, Corporate Centers and other groups internal and external to Raytheon. Project management includes:
- Developing and managing projects plans and timelines for all SUPT initiatives
- Continually working with BU's to ensure current and new business requirement are met.
- Manage the relationship between the SAP Oracle support groups to ensure tax systems and requirements are operating as designed.
- Work with SUPT team to develop and implement customized reports and extracts as required.
- Special Projects - Responsible for the successful completion of special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in systems support and/or transaction tax administration in public and/or industry
- General understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution, Financial, and Material Management modules
- Systems proficiency, particularly with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

- Experience working with Vertex Sales Use Tax software
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Ability to manage personal tasks and workload

Required Education (including degree):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technology field
