Its business in Lincoln, Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery (SIT), is world renowned for the research, development, manufacture and lifetime support of industrial gas turbines to the global oil and gas and power generation industries. Their expertise is constantly evolving and business keeps growing. As part of this, they rely on the innovation and creative thinking from their employees which has led to a new requirement for a Taxation Officer.
This is a key role to ensure that the SIT Ltd business’ tax process are compliant, and therefore they are looking for an experienced tax professional to join them. In this role you will enjoy a wide and varied brief comprising,
8th directive, CIS schemes, Intrastats, Paye settlement agreements and inward processing relief. You will also provide information to and support Siemens Global Shared Services / Siemens UK in their preparation of tax returns, including:VAT, P11ds and corporation tax.
You will be an individual with good communication skills able to work on your own initiative and have a good working knowledge of all aspects of business and global tax issues. Your MS office skills will be first class and including excel and PowerPoint and you should be flexible to travel to the Frimley office when required.
