Description:

A leading global bank requires a Taxation specialist to join their expanding team in Dublin.
The successful applicant will be tasked with being the main point of contact with the Custody Department, Client Tax experts, Business Implementation teams and Change Management department in relation to tax calculation and reporting procedures. The successful candidate will be supported by various SMEs across a no: of functions such as fund administration, Financial Reporting and Shareholder Services.
The main purpose of the position is to develop and maintain a complex and advanced Fund Taxation Reporting environment in the bank.

Responsibilities:

To lead and develop taxation reporting solutions
Review the bank’s client, fund and investor base to ensure the appropriate application of tax provisions and reporting standards.
Maintenance of static data
Training of staff
To Develop and maintain operating processes and procedures to ensure accurate delivery of fund and investor-level tax computations and reporting requirements.
Provide specific tax related advice to relevant internal parties
Participate in the implementation of new funds from a tax perspective
