TC22 - Laboratory Technician
JOB TITLE: Laboratory Technician/ Lab Analyst LOCATION: Cumming, GA REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or any related scientific field 3 years of lab experience in animal feeds and/or water wastewater Familiarity with GC, HPLC, combustion analyzers, scales, glassware, and other lab equipment. Experience in ISO 17025 GA Water Wastewater certified is highly desirable, but not required JOB DUTIES: Documentation for work performed to ISO 17025 standards, tests per ISO 17025, Routine equipment maintenance, Maintain clean work area, sweeping and mopping regularly, Some light lifting up to 5 gal pails, Practice safe working habits, use of some harsh/corrosive chemicals, Work well with other analysts, interact with management and supervisor, Show initiative to learn new tasks, Fill in when other analysts are absent, Some research and development projects will be available Duties will be assigned based on experience. Initial drug screen and E-verify required for employment. HOURS: First Shift: 8am-4:30pm (sometimes OT available)
