Teacher Education Unit Accreditation Assessment Specialist

East Stroudsburg University is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Teacher Education Unit Accreditation Assessment Specialist within the College of Education. As part of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, ESU offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits.

The Teacher Education Unit Accreditation Assessment Specialist will coordinate the tracking and analysis of all data for accreditation and certification programs in the Teacher Education Unit. This individual will work specifically to manage the data collection and analysis through our electronic data system (TK20).

The incumbent will be responsible for training faculty, students and school district partners in using Tk20; Serve as the Unit Administrator of the Tk20 program; supervise the graduate student workers and graduate assistants that work with this program.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM. 37.5 hours a week.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Technology, or related discipline. Candidate must have at least a basic understanding of assessment principles, as well as data management; ability to work effectively with others and have strong oral and written communication skills. This individual must be able to take leadership in meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Math, Technology or related discipline. Experience using Tk20 or another type of electronic data management system. Experience creating and/or using rubrics for assessment purposes. Competence using Microsoft Excel and other software programs. Ability to work independently with initiative and integrity. Experience with NCATE or another accreditation or certification program.
