Team Lead, Markitwire and Murex Integration (VP-Director)

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Delivery management of any work involving Markitwire changes or dependencies (front to back through Murex)

·         Management of the Markitwire focussed development resources

·         Work allocation to the Markitwire resources

·         Attendance of the SCB internal Markitwire Working Group as the FMSD representative

·         Attendance of the external Markitwire Working Group as the SCB technology representatives

·         Responsibility of overseeing all Markitwire changes.

·         Management Status Reporting for all Markitwire changes and resource allocation updates

·         Attendance to Pre CAB and CAB to represent Markitwire changes (if required)

·         Evaluation of Functional Specifications involving Markitwire changes.

·         Drafting of the Technical Specifications for Markitwire changes.

·         Define and drive approval of the Markitwire strategy and application roadmap

·         Management of the Markitwire stakeholders and representing a single point of contact for them within the team.

·         Work as a leading or major contributor to drive development assignments and solve issues

·         Provide guidelines and coaching to junior developers on their daily work and career development

·         Conduct or participate in requirement analysis with business analysts and end users

·         Contribute to reengineering initiatives to address deficiencies in existing system and apply better design principals

·         Define, monitor and enhance development processes to improve overall team performance in a global environment

·         Coordinate with other teams in technology regarding deployment, interfaces and other development activities

 

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS

·         Played a leading/major role on design and implementation of the integration between external and internal systems

·         In depth experience in the complete product lifecycle for a wide array of asset classes, and extensive knowledge of FXO and IRD businesses.

·         Strong knowledge of Front and Middle Office processes (trading business, risk management, trade life cycle, etc.)

·         Good knowledge on functional testing, testing lifecycle and various processes

·         Ability to explain technical issues to business users and to convert user requirements into technical specifications

·         Strong communicator, able to converse in appropriate levels of detail

·         Experience of strategic change and working with business stakeholders to define and execute a technology strategy 

·         Project Management Experience

·         Project Estimation and Planning

·         Knowledge of Markitwire Functionalities and API

·         Knowledge of Murex Functionalities (MxML preferred)

·         Experience in implementing multi-threaded systems

·         4+ years Java core, JMS and JDBC experience

·         4+ years XML and XLST experience

·         Experience with messaging

·         Experience with Junit and testing frameworks

·         Experience with continuous integration, build and release technologies

·         Familiarity with both an Agile and Waterfall project methodology approach

·         Strong abilities on problem solving and constructive thinking

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure

·         Strong skills on communication in both written and oral English
