Team Lead VP – Banking Channels Applications recruitment
A leading financial institute is keen to speak to VP level Team Leader's for their Consumer banking channels applications. This would be a team of around 20 members so you must have team management and banking background.
Position Description:
Hold overall responsibility and accountability for the management and delivery of various forms of retail/consumer banking application projects across multiple countries.
Principal Role:
- Familiar with business process management of consumer banking
- Execution and strategic leadership pertaining to consumer banking
- Good communication and stake holder management skill
- Able to build rapport and partnership with business users
- Good people management skill
- Coaching ability as team leader of approximately 20 staff
- Financial understanding of running the shop
- Keep abreast of changes in the standards, technologies or methodologies
Domain Knowledge:
- Domain knowledge of retail and consumer banking is essential
- Have experience leading IT team in branch banking domain
- Have done multiple projects in area of branch operation and contact centre
- Familiar with ATM technology and in-depth knowledge of mobile technology including industry trends
- Have done projects in rolling out applications across different mobile platforms: J2ME, iPhone/iPad, Android, Black Berry
- Have done projects in rolling out eCommerce applications
- Familiar with web technology: HTML5,AJAX, web services
- In-depth knowledge of either J2EE or .NET technology
- Have experience in designing banking channels applications: branch, ATM, internet/mobile and implementing multi channel concept
- Experience in working with regional banks and implementing banking application across countries
- Passionate individual for IT architecture
Qualifications/Experience
- Tertiary education required
- Certification or formal training in project management is required
- At least 10 years as Project Manager/ Team Leader/ Business Analyst in Information Technology, a substantial part of which are in a financial organization
- Demonstrated success in managing sizeable projects (cost exceeding S$10 million) involving system upgrade with end-to-end delivery responsibility)
- Demonstrated focus on quality mindset
- Regional work experience (eg.MalaysiaChina)
