This role is for a Director in the Equity Derivatives Fund Operations Trade Support group in London which supports the T+0 control processes and life cycle event management for the Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) Trading Desk. The individual will manage the team supporting the ETF creation and redemption process, monitor and resolve any risk management queries with trading and sales. They will also extensively liaise with 3rd parties as part of the fund creation and redemption process.
Key responsibilities include, managing a team of 3 people, exercising of supervisory due diligence, management of daily processes and line management of the team including providing regular 1-2-1 feedback and regular appraisals.

The successful candidate will be required to have a strong control focus on managing the existing processes as well as the ability to identify future enhancements to both the tactical and strategic agenda.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Managing team of 3 people
- Controlling daily workflow
- Definition of team member objectives, delivery of midyear and end of year reviews
- Building relationships with Operation teams, Financial Controllers and Front Office Risk Managers
- Managing tactical agenda to enhance control framework
- Help to identify, drive and implement process improvements
- Weekly and monthly reporting of Key Risk Indicators in relation to the team activities
- Ad-hoc reporting as and when required
