Team leader Accounting / Reporting and Controlling / Planning recruitment

My client is a dynamic independent insurance company operating at international level. The company is looking for a team leader who will manage the Accounting / Reporting and Planning / Controlling team.

You will be involved in the day to day management of the GL team and responsible for all statutory accounts within the company. You will also be in charge of the Controlling, planning and forecasting.

Among your tasks:

- Supervision of a team: coaching, mentoring, appraisals…
- Liaise with all involved entities of the business
- Oversee monthly and quarterly closings
- Year-end closing and reports
- Cash Forecast
- Tax and VAT declarations
- Follow-up payroll activities from an accounting point of view
- Variances analysis (actual vs Forecast)

Your profile:
- Master degree Finance/ Accounting/ Economics
- Experience in Insurance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
- Strong IT skills
- Good communication
- Fluent in Dutch and English, passive knowledge of French
