Team Leader, Consumer Credit
Managing a team of investigators and overseeing high profile cases, you’ll play an important role in preparing the function for transfer to the FCA.
Take control of your own portfolio of cases, ensuring they successfully progress, while leading a team providing support to ensure your staff develop and contribute fully. Working closely with the FCA, you’ll contribute on key projects designed to ensure a smooth transition next year, while ensuring our case loads progress and manage resources appropriately.
You understand the Consumer Credit Act or financial services regulation and have a successful history in investigations or casework. You’re a confident communicator, at ease with public speaking and a natural networker. You might have management experience, but more importantly you’ll be able to lead through change and juggle conflicting priorities.
The OFT is the UK’s consumer and competition authority with a mission to make markets work well for consumers. You’ll be joining us until the end of March 2014 before transferring to the FCA, who will take over the responsibility for the regulation of consumer credit consumer credit.
