Team Leader, Data Management
Prestigious investment manager seeks a data management professional with people management experience and a solid reference data background, to include vendor management gained from the financial services industry. Specific exposure to an investment management environment is preferred.
The successful candidate will be outcome and delivery focussed, with a high level of numerical and analytical ability and significant data management experience and expertise. A high level of technical ability is essential, ideally to include both SQL and Excel VBA and this will be complemented by strong communication an presentation skills and the proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a constantly changing environment.
The role focusses on the management of reference and instrument data and will involve the development and ongoing maintenance of a superior level of data management to a variety of business units throughout the organisation. There will also be a requirement to manage the firm's relationships with data vendors and to plan and oversee improvements to processes and services on an ongoing basis.
