Team Leader Designate

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Team Leader Designate is a critical part of the finance team as they will ultimately be stepping into the Team Leader role. The position will be visible, internally with Senior Management, and face to face with clients.
You will provide a range of accounting services to a portfolio of Clients preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts and payment of client invoices. Financial statements are to be prepared in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS where applicable. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the team on a day to day basis and will be reporting ultimately to Senior Management.
Alongside further client services such as VAT and FSA regulatory returns and P11d’s, you will be responsible for ad-hoc project work on behalf of clients.
Furthermore you will assist the Team Leader as and when required in addition to training team members when appropriate and be dedicated to relationship building with a range of Clients.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a good working knowledge of MS Office and accountancy systems and some experience of managing a team. They will be able to use their own initiative and ability to work through issues and problems.
