Team Leader I / Credit Recovery (Job Number: 1312789)Description
Credit (Asset) Recovery is responsible for managing underperforming and non-performing credits and assets across a wide range of sectors. The incumbent will perform analysis of complex credit transactions and help to monitor the overall portfolio in order to maximize recovery/minimize loss for the corporation by the direct management or supervision of the handling of troubled credits. In addition, s/he will assist senior officers in preparing various memos, projections, and budgets. S/he will also participate in the timely identification of emerging credit problems in conjunction with other departments responsible for credit monitoring functions. The incumbent will be trained in and responsible for various reporting requirements including Troubled Debt Restructurings, credit reserves, and non-performing assets.
Qualifications
MBA or equivalent education and/or related experience. Extensive commercial lending / credit policy experience (7-10 years) with a broad exposure to high risk special attention credits, extensive financial analysis, bankruptcy, foreclosure and lender liability experience are required. Must possess excellent negotiating skills, sound judgment, risk taking and individual leadership skills to accomplish goals. Excellent problem solving, communication, organizational, and listening skills are also required
