The People Bank is currently recruiting for a Team Supervisor - Distribution Centre for our client located in the South West part of the city.  The ideal candidate must  have a sense of urgency, be enthusiastic, assertive and highly organized.  Excellent communication and leadership skills are also as asset.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  •        

    • Responsible for the day to day operation and leadership of the team.

  •

    • Develop, coach and communicate with your team to strive for improvements.

    • Responsible for full inventory security

    Required Qualifications Experience:

  •        

    • 3-5 years previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehousing environment, preferably high volume and fast paced.

  •        

    • Proven track record of positive coaching and team building.

  •        

    • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.

  •        

    • Ability to recognize opportunities for change.

  •        

    • Self motivated, analytical and capable of working independently

  •        

    • Post Secondary diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.

  •        

    • Knowledge of WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and all related governing legislation.

  •        

    • Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean, Access would be an asset.

  •        

    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

  •        

    • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.

  •        

    • Conflict resolution skills.

  •        

    • Willingness to learn.
