The People Bank is currently recruiting for a Team Supervisor - Distribution Centre for our client located in the South West part of the city. The ideal candidate must have a sense of urgency, be enthusiastic, assertive and highly organized. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also as asset.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day operation and leadership of the team.

Plan, manage and adjust daily workload.

Required Qualifications Experience:
3-5 years previous supervisory experience, preferably in a warehousing environment, preferably high volume and fast paced.
Proven track record of positive coaching and team building.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
Ability to recognize opportunities for change.
Self motivated, analytical and capable of working independently
Post Secondary diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and all related governing legislation.
Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean, Access would be an asset.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent speaking and presentation skills.
Conflict resolution skills.
Willingness to learn.
