Your varied tasks include
- Leading a team of medical coding specialists and a team of randomisation specialists who provide full global service with regard to both tasks
- Management and supervision of the outsourcing of medical coding performed by Contract Research Organisations (CROs), including training, review of deliverables and relationship management
- Providing of coding expertise for the project and trial teams with responsibility for coding in MedDRA and WHO-DD of all adverse events, concomitant therapies and concomitant diagnosis in all clinical trials worldwide
- Supplying of randomisation code, labels for the patient medication kits and emergency code breaks for all clinical trials worldwide including importing the random code in Oracle Clinical
Your qualification
You hold a Bachelor's degree in IS/IT and/or have applicable professional training, combined with extensive experience with clinical trials and clinical data management.
You provide proficient knowledge of Oracle Clinical, TMS, MedDRA, WHO-DD, SAS and Propack Data CTM as well as of international regulations of ICH, EMEA and FDA. You have a proven track record in leading teams or projects and in the supervision of CROs.
You stand out due to your analytical thinking, problem solving, planning and project management skills. You know how to use change management and leadership methods.
Personally you are characterised by your good interpersonal, team working and communication competencies and service thinking as well as by your ability to prioritise and to effectively manage multiple tasks in parallel.
The international nature of the task requires excellent English – both spoken and written – as well as the competence to work successfully in international teams. Proven skills in MS Office go without saying.
