Team Leader (m/f) Financial & Regulatory Reporting in Group Management Reporting recruitment

Your new duties and responsibilities
In this function you will supervise the preparation and manage the process for the creation of quarterly and annual reports, and other financial reports and presentations. You will also file reports with regulatory agencies and monitor the developments of regulatory requirements. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Preparation of all financial and regulatory reports (e.g. quarterly and annual report of the Allianz Group) including supervision of the production process, the drafting of each report in English as well as ensuring high quality translations into German
- Supervision of and involvement in the production of the monthly reporting presentation for the Allianz group and the board of management
- Management of relationships with the internal information suppliers and with external contacts (e.g. certified auditors or printers)
- Monitoring of upcoming changes in regulations
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the reporting products and processes and help improve external rankings
- Responsibility for the resource planning, controlling, recruitment, development and management of the Financial Regulatory Reporting team, consisting of five team members
Required qualifications and experience
Qualifications
- Degree (Masters / PhD) in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Fluency in English and German (one of which as native language)
- Accounting or auditor qualification would be a plus
Experience
- 5+ years work experience in financial reporting
- Deep knowledge of insurance industry and finance topics
- Deep insight into reporting processes
- Experience as team leader and line management experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of SAP, InDesign / InCopy or other publishing tools are required
- Knowledge of Solvency II would be beneficial
- Ability to spot trends and present complicated information in a clear and market oriented style
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical and management skills
- Ability to build good working relationships with many different internal and external counterparties
- Proven ability to work under time pressure with zero mistake approach
