Team Leader MI & Financial Reporting

My client, a London Stock Exchange listed leading global Alternative Investment Management business are looking for a team leader to take responsibility for reporting processes and financial controls for a number of entities.

Responsibilities Include:
• Prepare and review management and statutory reporting
• Continually evaluate and improve financial controls and processes within the broader team by taking a proactive role in questioning processes in place
• Provision of technical support, day to day direction and leadership to direct reports and to the wider team
• Assistance in any ad-hoc projects as required
• Review of the monthly management accounts for all entities within area of responsibility

Successful candidates will be ACA qualified with a minimum on 3 years’ PQE ideally in an investment management business. You must have a thorough and technical understanding of accounting standards (UKGAAP and IFRS) with experience of management information reporting or monthly management accounts. Working knowledge of the FCA regulatory rules would be advantageous and knowledge or experience in working within the investment management space is a bonus. Strong Excel IT skills are essential with the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
