Syracuse Community Health Center has an immediate need for a Team Leader RN

Job Summary:
Team Leader RN position in the Walk-In-Care department, which offers extended hours services to our patients for their urgent health care needs.  This position provides the nursing leadership and oversight for the department.  Provides direct nursing care and patient education to meet the needs of client population; lead other nursing staff members and assist department providers in the provision of quality care. Perform administrative duties to maximize department/site efficiency. Ensure positive customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a State accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse with a license to practice as an RN in the State of New York. 1-3 years of clinical or physicians office experience including patient education. One year management experience in a healthcare setting. Current CPR Certification and Infection Control Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred. Three years supervisory experience preferred.  This positions requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays.  Walk-In-Care provides extended hours of service Monday through Friday and is also open Saturday and Sunday.
