Team Leader Supplier Management recruitment
The key purpose of the role is to develop, own and manage key external industry stakeholder and supplier relationships for their metering business, ensuring compliance with licence and BSC code requirements.
The Supplier Management team will be responsible for managing timely completion of all business Registrations and provide expert support to billing teams with complex flow management.
- The team is responsible for ensuring all meter reading licence obligations are complied with.
- The nature of the work is technical and a thorough knowledge and experience of industry data flow management is essential in order to lead the Supplier Management team effectively.
- Assessment of the market and changing landscape of agent participants will require both strategic and analytical abilities as well as the ability to build a network of relationships. Converting this knowledge into a robust agent strategy will need good negotiation skills.
Educational Qualifications
- A levels are the minimum educational qualification
Relevant Experience
- Substantial (5-10 years) experience of managing industry processes and a thorough understanding of the purpose and use of industry flows is a pre-requisite of the job, and will take priority over formal educational qualifications.
- Strong experience and/or understanding of the role and activities of Elexon and MRA is essential
- Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers is essential.
