About the role
As a Team Manager, your role is to provide a team of Finance and Administrative Officers with consistent and effective leadership by motivating and developing them to achieve shared and individual targets. You will be responsible for the day to day administrative requirements that support the CommInsure General Insurance teams such as GI Contact Centre and GI Claims.
Some of the tasks you will be expected to perform in a manner consistent with CBA Values of Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability and Service, which we all live and breathe every day are listed below:
- Support, coach and mentor team members to enable them to meet their goals
- Point Of Reference
- Monitoring of completion of Business Unit Reports within GI
- Clearing of backlog and assuming accountability for un-presented cheques for claims BAU
- Reports / Tasks including to, but not limited to the following actioned within agreed SLA's: Scanning, PFS Report, Wealth Pack, Recoveries and Receipting
- Monthly spot checking
- Coaching and development plans in accordance with PFR's
- Action plans for ICSM and People Culture Surveys
- Responsible for managing relationships with GICC, Underwriting, GIC, Product and Pricing as well as other internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for the rollout and implementation of the new technology systems and processes that influence administrative procedures
- Accountable for the delivery of quality customer service to both internal and external customers
- Responsible for the overall team's adherence to agreed processes

What will help you succeed?
We are looking for a highly motivated person with the ability to achieve targets in a busy and customer focussed environment. You must be a quick learner, computer literate and above all have a strong focus on customer service which is inherent in everything we do.
- Demonstrated management experience, specifically within the GI industry
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team (people management)
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Previous demonstrates experience in dealing with Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Coaching and Time Management.
- Previous exposure to the systems used within CommInsure GI, specifically using i90 and Fineos is desired.
- Sound MS office skills
- Manage continuous improvement while ensuring key business objectives are being met
- Ability to establish sound working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to deliver concurrent outcomes to deadlines
