Team Manager – Assurance Compliance Audit Manager | Leading Global Corporate Bank| London
Location – London
Salary - 70-100k + benefits bonus
Description
A leading Corporate Bank is looking for a Team leader to run a group within the Compliance Assurance Function. The position will be reporting directly into the Head of the group, with a dotted reporting line into the Head of Audit Compliance. The position will have direct management of a team of around 7 personnel and so it offers excellent managerial exposure.
The roles responsibilities will include
- Contribute to an assurance methodology that is robust and consistently applied by all members of the function
- Deliver a portfolio of planned and adhoc assurance reviews as outlined in the Assurance Plan
- Designing testing strategies
- Ensuring the training and continued development of junior members of the team
- Liaise directly with key stakeholders throughout the business
- Oversee assurance programmes within offices throughout the UK
- Report directly into Head of Audit Compliance
Key Requirements
- 5-7yrs experience within a corporate banking Compliance OR Audit Assurance function
- Excellent understanding of Corporate Banking business, and its relationship with Wholesale markets
- Good educational background
- Strong communication skills (will have to liaise / present to key stakeholders senior management)
- Proven direct management experience
