Teamlead APAC ETD Clearing recruitment
The candidate will lead the APAC ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives) Clearing teams (both onshore and offshore) and be responsible for the clearing and settlement of trades in the APAC markets. A good working knowledge of ETD markets and keen process improvement mindset will enable you to support both run-the-bank and change-the-bank activities, especially to support the exchange-mandated changes as well as in-house projects
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the reconciliation team, to ensure that trades and positions breaks are being monitored, and to follow up with the required parties to resolve them in a timely manner
- Provide regular 1:1 and feedback to the team members including their personal development plan and develop and execute training plans to ensure that all team members possess the sufficient knowledge and resources to perform the daily tasks
- Ensure timely clearing of all ETD trades in the APAC markets in an accurate, controlled and timely manner and that all positions are maintained accurately both at the exchange and UBS’ internal clearing settlement system
- Coordinates any Change-The-Bank project work that impacts the clearing team, including testing and documentation Has a full understanding of the Business Continuity Plan
- Manage the relationship and performance of offshore clearing team and ensure that there is adequate governance through regular meetings and communications
Requirements:
Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites:
- Possess extensive knowledge of ETD products and the exchange rules, including regulatory reporting and delivery process of all deliverable contracts; Excellent Global Market Product Knowledge and new developments such as listed IRS and CDS derivatives (OTC-CCP)
- Strong reconciliations experience, strong ETD Trade Processing Experience and GMI and Clearvision experience
- Strong people management skills to promote a stable working environment, able to constantly challenge and encourage team members through involvement in the group's forward progress
- Good project management skills
- Additional language skills such as Japanese and Mandarin would be highly regarded
