Team/Sales Coordinator – Macquarie Global Investments – Hong Kong recruitment
Macquarie Global Investments (MGI), a division of the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is responsible for developing and managing innovative and specialist investment products for distribution to a broad range of retail and institutional investors.
The team are continuing to expand globally within their Global Agriculture and Funds Distribution functions and are seeking a mandarin speaking Team/Sales Coordinator to provide support to senior managers located in Hong Kong. The role itself will be based in our Hong Kong office and will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to, managing the Client Relationship Management System (CRM), presentation preparation, sales support and general office management duties.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to the team including; travel arrangements, diary management, expenses and ad hoc duties
- Organisation of meetings (agendas, minutes, facilities)
- Produce presentations as required
- First point of contact for the team with internal and external parties
- Helping the team develop and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with investors
- Organizing and participating in marketing and client presentations, typically with senior executives from investing institutions
- Creating and maintaining the CRM database (Salesforce), internal investor reports and databases
To be successful in these roles you will:
- Possess previous experience as a Team Coordinator/Assistant
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise and collaborate with Macquarie staff and investor staff at all levels
- Be resourceful and have the ability to work independently as well as within a small team. Proficient in Mandarin - written and verbal (essential)
- The ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, energy and a strong work ethic
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
- Take pride in your work displaying a high level of attention to detail and a strong client service orientation
