Tech and Date Lead Program Manager
Asentis on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical organization is looking for a Technical and Data Lead Manager
The role will be accountable for project planning, budgets and integration with other workstreams/functions including other parts of IS, finance and HR. The role will have 6-10 direct reports and up to 20 indirect reports.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide governance/strategy for RICE Workstream
- Lead and provide governance/strategy for testing Workstream
- Provide single point of technology escalation for Engage programme
- Oversee and approve plans for Engage rollout including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and quality
- Manage and coordinate project / programme budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status to support effective decisions and project reporting to stakeholders and review boards.
- Manage and coordinate interdependencies between projects and programme workstreams (intra-program and across portfolio).
- Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and commitment to project/program objectives. Responsible for steering / stakeholder meetings, communication of status, issues, risks.
- Drive effective risks issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure problems resolved and escalate as appropriate.
- Lead a cohesive project /programme team and provide the leadership necessary to maximize the team's success.
- Own project / programme improvement plans and oversee execution of remediation plans.
- Manage changes to project/programme scope, ensuring that all impacts and changes are approved and appropriately communicated to stakeholders and review boards.
- Ensure / develop service transition plans including controlled hand-over into support and maintenance.
- Ensure the project team adheres to all standards including programme methodologies, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and best practices. Establish program governance and lead Decision Point reviews;
Minimum Requirements -Education and Experience
- Proven track record of leading and delivering HRIS projects globally
- At least 12 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering results and making the connections between technology and business requirements
- Proven ability to work hands on to deliver global HRIT projects
- Experience of developing and managing relationships globally and with third parties
- Demonstrated ability to effectively mentor global HR and IS staff and to mange own work against competing priorities and deadlines
- Able to undertake international travel on a frequent and ongoing basis for several weeks on a single trip
- Proven customer-oriented focus
- Ability to work effectively in global team environment across multiple time zones
- Demonstrated ability to maintain highly confidential information
