Description
The Back Office Technology Team is looking for an experienced technical lead or manager who has experience dealing with the many challenges facing a
Back Office Department. This person needs to be passionate about technology and have proven experience in transformational efforts. It is also important that the candidate have strong communication skills and a strong sense of values. In the Back Office Tech team, Technical Leads will be involved in projects ranging in complexity from weeks to months to years.
- Integrates systems
- Responsible for managing and mentoring a team of developers. Supervises staff, mentors developers, creates training plans, interviews, and hires staff.In conjunction with project managers, oversees the work stream of developers
- Collaborates with other technical leads as well as the Development Manager in envisioning and defining the technical architecture for the department. The new architecture will be flexible, extensible, supportable, secure, allow for agile development, and allow for integration with third party applications/packages.
- Maintains/improves the team's technical expertise
- Works with business analysts to flush out requirements
- Customizes, configures and extends applications.
- Designs new applications: fixes bugs, re-factors, improves, reduces duplication and extends functionality

Qualifications
- Typically has 10-12 years related experience.
- Technical expertise in one or more of the following: C#, ASP, NET, Java, Python
- Well versed in modern SDLC methodologies and practices
- Strong foundation in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Financial Services experience required, with at least 5+ years supporting a Back Office function, and a good understanding of business data
