Job Description:
Required Skills:
• Excellent hands on linux or unix or any similar variants; both administration
and internals.
• Working knowledge of apache or any
web servers
• Good understanding of apache logs,
config, etc. and be able to debug the issues
• Experience of the file systems,
nfs, dns, mail
• Should be able to interpret system
condition by looking at system stats/profiles (e.g. CPU, Memory, Swap, disk
capacity).
• Good working knowledge of ftp,
tcp/ip, sockets and other necessary protocols.
• Automation experience in
infrastructure monitoring.
• Usage of open source tools like
nagios etc.
* Experience in writing automation
and monitoring scripts using perl,bash etc.
* Prior experience in managing
Network attached storage systems.
* Participation in oncall rotation
and production support.
Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to large-scale production
environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of developer tools like
Bugzilla, CVS, SVN is a plus.
• Knowledge/experience with storage
systems like NetAPP is a plus.
• Experience in multi-tiered,
high-volume production development experience is a strong plus.
• Experience in supporting
cloud-based applications is a strong plus
Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA /
M.Tech / MS in computer sciences
Work Type: Works through tasks that are part of larger projects and breaks
projects into tasks for completion with review by manager or senior team
members. Debugs moderately complex. Primary task focus is operational (supports
existing infrastructure.)
