Qualifications
oBachelors Degree in Computer Science or Math or Sciences
o2-3 years of progressive experience in systems and technology; exposure to financial systems is a must.

Technical Requirements
oStrong knowledge of OMS concepts
oStrong knowledge of the FIX (4.2, 4.4) protocol for Futures electronic trading (buy/sell sides)
oStrong core Java skills for small to medium development projects.
oFamiliarity with Unix commands and troubleshooting application performance issues
oFamiliarity with networking concepts, understanding of TCP/IP concepts
oShell scripting, Perl, SQL experience a plus
oIf possible, experience deploying GL/Sungard software SLE/SLC/…
oKnowledge and experience with ULLINK products very desirable
oFutures Product knowledge and experience dealing with the intricacies of the futures exchanges in the Americas
Most of the applications are developed in Java, J2EE, C++, FIX, perl etc and support Electronic trading, technical on-boarding of clients, reporting, STP feeds to middle and back office systems etc.
The development team that designs and supports the FIX and OMS environments is looking for a new member. Very strong ability to work on integration projects is a must, as daily tasks and projects will require a clear understanding on how multiple systems interact. The team is responsible for the management of capacity, performance and growth of the environment as well as the development of new features sponsored by the business. As such, the candidate must be able to work in parallel on medium term projects (release process of new binaries, architecture, features) as well as daily tasks (trouble shooting , helping the production teams).
Those projects are maintained by teams located multiple regions, thus the ability to understand existing procedures and methodologies and adapt to those is a must.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and an innovative thinker with a strong focus on quality of delivery and a continuous focus on improving existing processes, procedures and applications.
