Technical Accountant recruitment
Our client, a consumer products firm, is looking for a senior level Technical Accountant.
• Evaluate current financial statements for comprehensive compliance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("US GAAP")
• Consult on all matters of US GAAP (including, but not limited to, new rules, new business transactions and annual compliance with complex rules such as those related to i) fair value ii) business combinations iii) intangible asset valuation, etc.)
• Perform a technical accounting review of the Company's significant new contracts to ensure compliance (including, but not limited to, business combinations, license arrangements, collaborative arrangements, etc.)
• Remain current with regard to US GAAP developments of the Financial Accounting Standards Board ("FASB"), the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), etc.
• Remain current with regard to International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") and the related convergence with US GAAP .
Requirements:
- 10 plus years experience
- CPA Mandatory
- Technical accounting experience at Big Four working with large mulit-national clients (GAAP, FASB, IFRS)
