Technical Analyst 2nd/3rd line support engineer Job in London, London Uk

Our client; a company offering concierge services for VIPs; has a requirement for a Technical Analyst (Technical Analyst 2nd/3rd line support engineer) based in London. The company offers a chance to join a friendly and sociable team with a large project pipeline, ensuring a varied position with the opportunity to grow and cross-train into other technologies and areas where appropriate.

The role requires a hands-on expert of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware and Citrix. Qualifications and illustrative practical project work would be beneficial.

As the company draws on a multi-site environment it is essential to have detailed knowledge of networking and routing, utilising HP CurvePro and Cisco equipment. Experience with Backup Exec, Dell Equallogic, SANs and leading firewall solutions would also be of great advantage.

 

Required skills:

Design, installation and configuration of:

·         Microsoft Exchange

·         Microsoft Active Directory

·         VMware vSphere

·         Citrix XenApp

·         Documenting, maintaining and processing ITIL

·         Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience

Desirable skills:

Support and installation experience of:

·         Microsoft SQL Server

·         Microsoft Share Point

·         Firewall and security appliances

·         Backup solutions

·         Industry recognized qualifications (VCP/ CCA/MCSE, ect.)
