Duties -Works closely with business analysts, and team members and, in some cases, may work directly with customer to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Directs the vendor partner staff in execution or technical requirements and solutions. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
Oversees the Commercial Auto development and maintenance activities. Meets regularly with the business to prioritize and trouble shoot items. Works with vendor to ensure appropriate handling and timely resolution of problems and enhancements.
Provides backup support for the Portfolio manager. Manages GENIUS release move ups as requested.
Manages the xPressions maintenance work efforts in relation to the GENIUS products. Works with the business analysts to identify trigger changes to support new or changes to existing forms.
Monitors Batch processing in GENIUS to ensure timely and accurate results.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Working of knowledge of GENIUS, CITRIX, ITP, Documaker, xPressions AS 400 and portals a plus.
Typically has 5 to 10 years of programming/systems analysis experience
PMP designation a plus.
