Identify potential improvements in the POPS
Develop business need documents and functional specifications
Communicate with POPS Contract Manager in determining system priorities
Collaborate as needed in the development of functional specifications with Executive Office of Health and Human Services Information Technology services
Oversee POPS Vendor’s development of technical specifications, ensuring that Massachusetts standards are maintained
Collaborate in the development and oversee the completion of User Acceptance Testing requirements
Monitor the schedule of deliverables from the POPS vendor, reporting delays and schedule changes to POPS Contract Manager
Oversee all Unit, System and User Acceptance Testing
Obtain approval from POPS Contract Manager prior to implementation of updates to the system
Maintain adequate communications between POPS Vendor, UMass Medical School Information Technology, and Executive Office of Health and Human Services Information Technology
Communicate with the Office of Clinical Affairs, Executive Office of Health and Human Services Information Technology, and Providers regarding changes and enhancements to POPS system
Participate in Disaster Recovery Drills
Participate in Office of Clinical Affairs CQI activities
Other related duties as assigned
